RxKids
RxKids is a Michigan-based program that provides direct cash support to expectant mothers and infants to help promote healthy beginnings for families. This program is universal and unconditional, meaning there are no income requirements to qualify.
Who can apply?
You may be eligible if you:
Live in a participating Rx Kids community. (Clare, Gladwin, and Roscommon Counties are participating communities)
Are at least 16 weeks pregnant or have a newborn/infant (eligibility timing may vary by community).
Meet residency requirements for the participating location.
Do not need to meet any income limits - ALL qualifying families in the community may apply.
What does the program provide?
A one-time payment during pregnancy. ($1,500)
Monthly cash payments after birth. ($500 a month for six months after birth)
Amounts and duration vary by community
This support is designed to give families flexibility to use the funds in ways that best meet their needs during pregnancy and early infancy.
